As a company that focuses on digital identity for healthcare industries, Imprivata wanted its new space to reflect its international reach with a neighborhood sensibility. Working with a fantastic owners team who wanted to celebrate their employees and welcome visitors into a memorable space, LLM Design leaned into the “resi-mercial” concept to bring a comfortable and inviting vibe to a high-tech workspace.
The overall palette reflects Imprivata’s brand colors with the integration of natural textures, both of which can be seen in furniture, lighting, and graphic details. Rich walnut wood furniture, pops of color textiles, and black matte fixtures holding luscious greenery fill out the two floors of the sun-fed office.
Creating a balance between the relaxed and residential feel of the lounge areas, while still maintaining a professional setting for meetings can be challenging. Imprivata had already invested in a culture of collaborative, impromptu conversations, but like many workplaces, a digital, virtual environment was seamlessly added.
We worked with our partners at OfficeWorks to create custom angled workstations for a unique look. The incorporation of discrete power solutions in conference tables and hightops are thoughtful details that contribute to both aesthetics and functionality. Some of our favorite pieces are the Nest Easy XL chair by Hightower and a custom live edge bar table. Durable, yet distinctive fabrics were chosen, including HBF Picnic Plaid and LUUM Adage Thermite, two of our favorites that add character and personality.
With a purposeful mix of aesthetics, functionality, and a touch of creativity, LLM Design was pleased to deliver a successful interiors package to the Imprivata team.
